In the week ending Feb. 28, one gas station in Kootenai County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.25 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Premium gas prices averaged $3.54 per gallon in Kootenai County.
Kootenai County had 21 of 82 reported gas stations offering premium gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in Idaho was $3.50, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
