North Idaho College Athletics recently issued the following announcement.

2022 Math Virtual Professional Development: Teaching for Thinking

Instructor:

 Veronica Blackham, IRMC Regional Math Specialist, ISU

This course is a book study on the newest edition of the popular book, Routines for Reasoning, by Kelemanik and Lucenta. The focus will be on strategies for fostering the mathematical teaching practices through reasoning routines. Teachers will receive a copy of the book and meet via video conferencing to discuss the concepts and activities they try in class.

Appropriate for all grades. Credit will be available for this book study paid by the State Department of Education.
