North Idaho College’s Corner Gallery will host artist Megan Cherry in an exhibition in Boswell Hall at NIC’s main campus in Coeur d’Alene.
Cherry’s exhibition titled “Precious Cargo” will run from Tuesday, Nov. 29 to Jan. 27.
Cherry will present her work in a lecture from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Molstead Library’s Todd Hall with an opening reception to follow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Corner Gallery. The events are free and open to the public.
Cherry is the arts program manager for the City of Moscow and a former adjunct art instructor at NIC. She is a multi-disciplinary artist whose recent work includes painted wood, stone and fiber sculptures.
The Corner Gallery is a public gallery on NIC’s campus that features exhibits by visiting and local artists, as well as NIC art faculty and students. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday.
