The new J-1 Scholar Orientation is held every other Monday in the International Programs Office (IPO) Conference Room to welcome new international employees, specifically employees who are in the J-1 visa category.
New J-1 Scholars who are located on other campuses can join us via Zoom.
We will cover services provided by the IPO, including a basic immigration overview of requirements, how and what they need to do to maintain their immigration status, and health care in the U.S.
This is a required orientation for all new J-1 visiting scholars.
